Drytek Unveils New Products at World of Concrete
New Products Continue the Innovation Trend
Las Vegas, NV, - January 23, 2008 - Drytek, the nation's leader in flooring solutions, today announced that it has introduced several new leading edge products for the building industry, Drytek SupercapT, Drytek SkimCoat and Drytek Designer Concrete Finish (DCF).
Addressing the need to speed up construction, lower costs while providing a superior cement base, Drytek developed, Drytek Supercap. The Drytek Supercap line of products is a specially designed, high-performance, self-leveling, cement-based product designed for capping of new interior concrete surfaces. The product is available in two formulations: 5000 SupercapT regular and Fast-Drying 5200 SupercapT fast. The unique formulation of Drytek Supercap, allows it to be applied to new concrete as soon as three days after and initial pour and finished goods may be installed as soon as 24 hours after the initial application of 5200 SUPERCAPT FAST depending on thickness, drying conditions and type of flooring materials.
For the next stage of construction, Drytek Skimcoat, was developed for skim-coating, smoothing and leveling prior to the application of floor coverings. Material may be applied from skim coat to 3/8" and finished floor material may be installed as soon as 30 minutes after application depending on thickness, drying conditions and type of flooring material. The product's silky consistency makes it the ideal choice for quick repairs and touchups.
In addition, Drytek announced the availability of Drytek DCF. Drytek DCF is unparalled in today's micro topping market. DCF is exceptionally user friendly and can be applied as an ultra smooth surface by trowel, squeegee or sprayer to create a myriad of desirable visual effects and appearances. The high strength and abrasion resistance of DCF makes it an excellent finished flooring system for shopping centers, retail, hospitality, lobbies and any interior floor where an exposed concrete wear surface is desired. DCF is an economical one component, just-add-water, system, allowing for ease of storage and simplicity at the job site.
